Matthew Matt James, born on December 5, 1991, in North Carolina. He is the child of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. He has the Nigerian father and a Caucasian mother. He graduated in 2010 in Sanderson High School and furthered to Wake Forest University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Economics in 2015. James was famous after the show The Bachelorette as a reality TV show star. James was selected as the bachelor of the year on The Bachelor season 25, which was the first season to feature an African American male star. The season premiered later that year. James's physique, appearance and personality were the perfect match for the part. Rachael Krkconnell was selected as James' partner for this season. In the season 30, (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, it was a dance with Arnold. James as well as Arnold placed 12th.
