Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September. 21 in 1983) is a famous American actress. Most notably, she played Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. The couple had separated and they moved together with their mother in Los Angeles. While struggling financially she landed her first acting gig as Rachel's Room's title character the video on-demand show Rachel's Room in the year 2001. She went on to earn a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as fifteen-year-old victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder which aired in Greenwich. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons. Grace returned to the Lost series in the final two episodes, playing Shannon. In 2013, she appeared in the sixth season of Californication. She is part of Gyllenhaal's family, and is the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. The next film she appeared in was Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, both 2002 and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performance as the main character in Secretary (2002) which is an erotic romance drama drama as well as Sherrybaby (2006). The actress was also nominated by The Golden Globe Award. The actress gained more attention after playing Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008), thanks to several successful commercial films that she was a part of during 2006.
