Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September. 21 in 1983) is a famous American actress. Most notably, she played Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. The couple had separated and they moved together with their mother in Los Angeles. While struggling financially she landed her first acting gig as Rachel's Room's title character the video on-demand show Rachel's Room in the year 2001. She went on to earn a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as fifteen-year-old victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder which aired in Greenwich. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons. She was also awarded an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace wanted to focus on film after playing opposite Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005. She has appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club both in 2007 as well as in Taken alongside Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. She reprised her role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice on Malice in Wonderland a modern take on Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the Lost series in the final two episodes, playing Shannon. In 2013, she appeared in the sixth season of Californication. The actress portrays Faith as a groupie and also a model for stars. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. She is part of Gyllenhaal's family, and is the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. She began her career as a teenager with small appearances in the films of her father and starred with her brother in the popular cult film Donnie Darko (2001). The next film she appeared in was Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, both 2002 and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performance as the main character in Secretary (2002) which is an erotic romance drama drama as well as Sherrybaby (2006). The actress was also nominated by The Golden Globe Award. The actress gained more attention after playing Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008), thanks to several successful commercial films that she was a part of during 2006. In recognition of her role as an unmarried mother in Crazy Heart (2009) she received a nomination for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Following that, she went on to play in comedies and dramas like Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and The Won't Back Down (12). In addition, she was the role of a Secret Service Agent in White House Down, an action thriller that was released in 2013. She also played she was a musician on the set of Frank (2014) as well as her role as the main character in The Kindergarten Teacher, a film that debuted in the year 2018. In 2021, Gyllenhaal has made her scriptwriting and directing debut with the psychological thriller The Lost Daughter for which she received The Lost Daughter the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
